So, here I am again. Dennis is up watering the sheep and I'm waiting to go and catch our "tame" lambs. It is a bit of a challenge as somedays they are friendly and easy to catch and other days they act as if you are a wolf or cougar!
At any rate, I was going through my camera this morning, dumping old pictures in order to make room for new ones from this weekend. I was surprised to find pictures on the camera from a year ago! I kept them on the memory card so I could take the camera in to make prints of the ones I like. So, just to remind sister Claudia of the wonderful time we had last year and to encourage her to come back again, here are some pictures of her visit last year:
Our house and farm is situated on the north side of the lake. We get a lot of sun, both summer and winter, which is great. We are in a small bay called Tom Allin Bay therefore we do not see the sunsets. There is a forest service campground adjacent to our property to the west, so clearing trees to open the westward view is out of the question. So we hop in the boat and cross the lake to a pebble beach. From there we watch the sun go down, enjoy a campfire, wine, cheese and pate. The cake is to remind Claudia that she had her birthday here that year. We hope she will enjoy a few more with us here on the lake!
